Novaschool British Camp is a full boarding campus designed for families with children aged 6 to 16 who want to learn and improve their English as this is the base language for the camp. The campus is located in a splendid, natural setting and follows an academic programme based on the Cambridge model with the four key areas of writing, reading, speaking, and listening.
It is a language immersion camp conducted by native teachers, these mostly being current Novaschool teachers at Novaschool Sunland International (a school which follows the British National Curriculum and which is a member of NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain ), with reduced groups in general and a system of individual attention.
Apart from the English lessons, Novaschool British Camp students will enjoy learning through the complementary activities programme (sports, adventure activities, workshops and evening shows), which are taught in English, allowing them to learn in as practical , intuitive and natural a way as possible.
At the start of each campus, each student will receive a camper´s kit (a cap, a shirt, a backpack, a folder and a set of pens and pencils) and will be given a placement test for the corresponding distribution of groups based on level and age. All our courses follow the syllabus of the official examinations of the University of Cambridge.
Once camp is over, each camper will be given a report completed by their teachers in which they will find details about their progress in learning the language, based on the requirements set forth by Cambridge ESOL.
